Lively space with attentive bar staff. The shuffleboard is a great way to avoid small talk during dry January.
More choice of beers would be nice but very friendly staff.
Amazing Chrstmas party in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Good food selection for all tastes ( a bit small portions)
14 for a veggie platter that had nothing is never good. Mulled wine was almost undrinkable, tasting too much of metal (probably sitted there for a large while). Shuffleboard and wild beer gives the 3 stars tho.
Brilliant Sunday roast (though probably avoid the Trio if your mates are going pure Pork Belly or Beef - the portion envy isn't worth it). The Sunday evening quiz is quality - quality quiz master and questions keep you on your toes (Underground/DLR station Q - Bird that likes to cling on?). Very enjoyable.Nowhere near Canary Wharf.
